Fataw Issahaku gets Black Stars call up.
Tamale Steadfast and Ghana U-20 Star Fataw Issahaku handed a call up to Black Stars.
Black Stars Coach C.K. Akunnor has handed a maided call up to Fataw Issahaku for the performance he exhibited during the Afcon U-20 Championship in Mauritania.
Fataw scored two sensational goals and provided one assist during the showdown which won him the overall player of the tournament award.
He is expected to join the rest of the Black Stars squad today as they beef up preparations for the Afcon qualifiers double header against South Africa and Sao Tome this month.
He emerged as the top scorer in the zone last year.
He also played three matches for Steadfast before he left for the U-20 Championship in Mauritania, in those three games he scored three goals and provided four assist, which won him three MVP awards.
He returned to the Steadfast team last weekend in a derby match against Tamale City.
His exploits in that game just explained why he was awarded the Overall best player in Mauritania.
