The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has presented forty vehicles to aid in the operations of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO).
The vehicles comprises of 30 Toyota Hilux pickups, 5 Toyota Land cruiser Prados, 1 payloader, 1 Mercedes Benz Rescue Ambulance, 1 Toyota Hiace Ambulance and 1 Toyota Camry.
The President on his Facebook page said Government had already distributed motorbikes to all 16 regions and to the 260 Metropolitan, Municipal and District secretariats of NADMO.
He promised to add additional 32 pickups in the course of next month to augment further the fleet of NADMO.
President Akufo Addo assured management and staff of NADMO of more in the coming years under his presidency.
