I am fit – Ken Ofori Attah
Minister Designate for Finance, Ken Ofori Atta, has assured the Appointments Committee of Parliament that he is fit and ready for the Finance Minister job.
This clarification comes after Finance Minister-designate Ken Ofori Atta, travelled to the United States to seek medical attention for post Covid-19 complications.
During his vetting with the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Thursday 25th March 2021, a member of the committee asked whether or not he was medically fit and ready for the job of finance minister.
“We would appreciate to know from the nominee if he is fit and fit for the job of finance minister”, Harunna Iddrisu asked.
In response to the question, Ken Ofori-Atta noted that Public Service is a duty that has its own energy and passion and that there will be no lax in the intensity of the work we have to do.
” I can assure you that the enthusiasm is there, the strength is there and the excitement for the future continues. Public Service is a duty that has its own energy and passion. There will be no lax in the intensity of the work we have to do”, he told the appointments committee.
