Media General has acquired the services of two popular Accra-based radio sports journalists from Angel Broadcasting Network.

The two, foreign sports news presenter Isaac Ansah Apagya and sports producer extraordinaire, Nathaniel Obeng (affectionately known as Legendo) have left their positions at Accra-based Angel FM, www.mediafillasgh.com can authoritatively state. Samkara Radio can therefore confirm the two ‘lieutenants’ of Saddick Adams ‘Sports Obama’ have now officially joined Onua FM and Onua TV.

Announcing the move on social media, Isaac Ansah Apagya wrote:

|Almost two years amidst selfless dedication, hard work, and commitment of an adventurous journey which saw a ‘red-eyed learner boy mature to become a learned man.
The cycle of life itself has stages where we perform and exit for others to continue with the mantle. It has been a pleasure worth every twinkle of an eye not just with my effort but God’s grace and strength and service rendering to you with what has been termed Ghana’s best sports program on Angel TV and FM (Warm-Up & Floodlight sports) respectively. With a clear conscience and a clean heart, I say goodbye after mutually ending my spell with Angel Fm 102.9, Accra, a subsidiary of ABN.
Wholeheartedly, I am, and will forever be grateful to the founder and owner of angel group of companies Dr. #Kwaku #Oteng, my CEO, Samuel Bronzy Teflon , Kwadwo Dickson (General Manager), Okyeame Quophi (Programs Manager), and Saddick Adams (Sports Obama), my Head of Sports whose support, guidance, and encouragement has improved and brought me to thus far where I am today. To my colleagues, sharing the same office with you has been a true pleasure. Thank you for being wonderful colleagues and never letting me settle for something less than what I’m capable of producing. I will forever cherish the memories we shared as I bow out today but remain brotherly. To all respected, admirers, cherished listeners, and fans, I say thank you for your precious time spent listening to me.

Praise be to God I have gotten back on my feet after five months of being in crutches, p.o.p and physiotherapy treatment. It has not been easy journey but God has done it beyond my expectation.
