Ghana’s U23 team has been condemned to a 10-0 aggregate defeat at the hands of their Japanese counterparts.

Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side were mauled 4-0 by an under-strength Blue Samurai side that did not feature Real Madrid’s Takefusa Kubo or Ao Tanaka or Yuki Soma in the line up.

The Japanese trainer rather introduced new set of players that featured Union Berlin’s Endo Keita among other fringe players who didn’t feature in the first leg game.

Ghana coach Paa Kwesi Fabin brought Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richmond Ayi in between the sticks but kept faith in Legon Cities’ Jonah Attuquaye, Samuel Abbey-Quaye, Francis Assinki and Osman Bukari in his line up.

But, the Japanese side still managed to hit 4 past the Ghana side to complete a 10-0 aggregate win over the two friendlies played between Saturday and Tuesday at Fukuoka in Japan.

The Ghana team will now move to South Korea where they will engage the Asian side in two friendly games.
