Information reaching Ghanasonline.com indicate some 17 persons have perished in an accident on the Offinso – Abofour road in the Ashanti Region.
17 others are also injured and currently receiving treatment at the St. Patrick Hospital at Offinso.
Speaking on 3News Midday followed by Ghanasonline.com, Head of the National Road Safety Authority in the Ashanti Region, Simbiat Wiredu noted the accident occurred around 3:30am on Monday November 1, 2021.
She said majority of the perished are head potters (Kayayees) with thier children.
Ten of them are children with 7 adults comprising six (6) females and a male.
