Former Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure inching closer to Ghana Premier League return – Reports
Former Asante Kotoko striker, Ahmed Toure is on the verge of returning to the Ghana Premier League.
According to multiple media reports, Medeama SC will announce the signing of the striker in the coming days.
Toure is currently a free agent having ended his stay with Guinean side AS Kaloum and has been in a haunt of a new club.
The Mauves and Yellows have been sweating in the ongoing Ghana Premier League for goals following the departure of Prince Opoku Agyemang and Nana Kofi Babil prior to the start of the ongoing season.
However, Toure made a huge statement following his spells with Asante Kotoko and Bechem United- where he left for ASEC Mimosas after the 2016/17 season.
The Burkinabe forward will be earning an annual salary of $10,000 and $1,000 per month at the club should the deal be announced.
The former ASEC target man is expected to arrive in Ghana in the next few days to finalise a deal with the Tarkwa-based outfit.
